Hello!
I am a graduate of the Utah College of Massage Therapy (UCMT). I finished my massage program in December 2004 and passed my NCBTMB exam and licensure for The State of Utah in the Summer of 2005. For the years following I worked Out Call Massage part time, going to peoples homes and giving them custom massages in their own space. I enjoyed this very much, as I had wonderful clients, though I always dreamed of having a more permanent space. Three years ago we transitioned our family here to the beautiful state of Wyoming. After settling in here to Green River, I finally felt the need to do more with massage again. I fell in love with the space I rent in the 307 Salon. The first time I stepped into that bare white walled room, I felt like my massage table belonged there. I hope that I have taken that blank canvas of a space and created a welcoming and trusting environment for my clients. I am so happy to have a home for my massage table. I look forward to growing my massage practice in this space and I hope that you feel welcome there.
I do not feel the need to label and charge for different modalities in Massage Therapy. I do have experience and training in many different modalities like Swedish, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, Russian Sports Massage, Reflexology, Acupressure, Cranial Sacral, Trigger Point Therapy...
Over the years I have learned that most people do not know what massage modality they need/want. Your body will show me what you need. I take all I have learned and I customize it to your needs. Every person has different needs and each massage session can be very different depending on those changes in your life.Â
So, I call what I offer, Custom Therapeutic Massage. It is all about communication. You communicate what your needs are, what you feel as the massage progresses and I can adjust those needs/modalities as we go along. Then you are going to get a more well rounded experience and I believe a better massage.
If you have any other questions about my background and experiences. Please do not hesitate to ask, I am an open book.
Sincerely,
Megan
